I need some major duas/prayers this weekend please... I called the embassy last night and they said we don't have to wait for the letter since it's questionable whether he'll even get the letter since he's in Afgh. they said to just bring his blue AP letter from the interview day and come one down... he told me what "additional docs" they are needing - 1) all passports (old/expired/current) 2) proof of employment for last 10 yrs, and 3) list of residences for last 10 years... we had answered #2 and #3 on the applications way back when but if they want the answers again, we'll give it to them... I don't know what to make of this... I asked if this should be the last step, he said he wasn't sure but "maybe insha'Allah" - and that if they do give him the visa that he should stick around in ISL for another day to pick it up b/c they understand the long journey involved for people from Afgh... sooooooooooo - the plan is that he's going to get his Paki visa tomorrow, leave for Paki on sunday, and be at the embassy on monday insha'Allah - we've got a "hope for the best and prepare for the worst" mentality at this point so we'll just have to wait and see what happens... insha'Allah insha'Allah insha'Allah :clock:

Inshallah jee Inshallah .. u deserve it

there you go now you are thinking.

well i got my hopes up, a few people got approved, one yesterday and one today for the k3. So maybe just maybe my k3 will get approved inshallah next week. LET HERE SOME CHEERS.

I am in my office. another day is here. I wish so much that I can do the typical things that normal people do. it would be nice to go shopping with my husband. or maybe scurry home from work and plan some sort of an evening. weekends seem like the end of the world for me. :( I dont go out, I dont hang out with my friends much. My favorite TV shows are seemingly lost their appeal. God, why does this seperation have to be so painful. :( we are being so punished for falling in love and getting married. I pray with all of my soul that we all get released from this hell.

Hello Everyone,

I know of another couple that are CR1 that he interviewed yesterday in Pakistan. His wife is Naturalized here in the states and not coming to VJ. He called Mian today to tell him he got a 221(g) and that is was the basic 45 days yadda.

Hope all of you waiting and separated have good news soon. I am praying and that all of you are reunited in a timely manner. The separation is so hard esp once you have the interview and your are in no man's land on the AP.

Take care and everyone try and have a good weekend.

Mary

ok this is just my theory, but i think its true that:

100 percent of the men are gonna go through AP/AR if they have been married less than 2 years. It does not matter what visa they are applying for k1, k3, cr1. And it also does not matter whether htey are marrying someone who is from different culture or same culture. now of course some will be on AR/AP for a few days, maybe a month others can be for many months.

and looking at "AYESHA" 's case, the 2 years might not matter either.
