Hi everyone, I have seen that some of you first received your AOS Fee Bill and then days after it showed payed, received the IV Fee Bill. My concern is that I received both the AOS Fee Bill AND IV bill at the same time. It also allowed me to pay for both of them online (which I did). My question is, is it safe to do that? Did I have to send in the AOS package first?

Also, has anyone here received both at the same time as well?

Again both Affidavit of Support (AOS) Processing Fee Bill Invoice and Immigrant Visa Application Processing Fee Bill Invoice were on the same E-mail.

Thanks!!

That's interesting. Typically the AOS bill comes first with the DS-3032. Once the DS-3032 is mailed back and accepted by the NVC, they then make the IV Bill available for payment. It could have been a mistake by the NVC. I would call the NVC just to make sure all is good and get the signed DS-3032 to them as soon as possible. I would go ahead and mail in all the AOS required documents plus coversheet to the NVC, but hold off on mailing the DS-230/IV Bill required documents until you've spoken to someone at the NVC.

Cheers!

Hi,

my thoughts to you is to call, call, call NVC and be sure everything is being processed accurately. And continue to check the website.

I paid my fees when the website allowed me to. On the receipt page it showed paid (and they took the money out of my account), but they never invoiced it.

When I called about it, they said I paid it too early! I told them I didn't understand how I paid too early, as I paid when it showed I could.

I had to call several times (as I had 3 applications, they would fix one and not the others).

Give them a few days, and if doesn't show paid on both the reciept and invoice- call.

They will tell you they will put a request in, and it will take 10-15 business days.

You can ask to speak to a supervisor to fix it.

It gets frustrating, but continue to be calm and polite.

This did hold up my process, as one of the petitions was completed and the others weren't because of the bill not being invoiced.

Though the one supervisor that I spoke to who was very helpful- told me NVC should have caught this "error" on their side.

Bottom line- all through your process, keep on top of it.

I hope this is helpful to you.

I guess one question that should be asked is are you doing an electronic filing? The process may be a little different if you did.

I does not look like you did from your timeline but thought I would ask.
