Hoping to find better answers. I am a US citizen getting all my things ready to file for K1. I need advised from someone that has gone through this, My fiance has two kids. Can I add the children to K1 process or is this a total other route? I want to make sure I do all my documents the right way so I don't get stuck in any misunderstanding. I will like to hear from someone that has gone threw the same. I am currently in Florida and my boyfriend is in Nicaragua. If I add the children in K1 do they also get a green card at the end of this? Please help.

How old are they.

Do you have the mothers permission for them to emmigrate.

If you are applying for a K-1 visa, you can add the children's names to the I-129F and obtain K-2 visas for them, providing they will not reach the age of 21 (I believe it's age 21) prior to obtaining the K-2 visa. Your fiance will need to get the permission of the children's mother for him to take the children to the U.S. to live with him.

Just follow the instructions on the I-129F.

My daughter (K-2) did not come to the U.S. at the same time as I did. She followed-to-join the next year. If your fiance's children will accompany him to the U.S., everyone will get their visas the same day. If the children will not join their Dad to the U.S. at the same time, you have up to one year to obtain the K-2 visas from the date the K-1 visa was obtained.

Good luck.

I will like to add the children so then can visit as many times as they will like, the children have custody with the mother and all we want is visits to the USA as many times a they want. So, do you recomend to add them in K1? will they get a visa for sure.

K2 is for immigrating

B2 is for visiting

No visa allows you to visit the US as many times as you want.
