Hi guys,

I just went online and checked the processing dates for CSC and they have been updated. For I-129F the date is March 6, 2006. They received mine on March 7, 2006, but my NOA1 is March 10, 2006. Should I be happy. Do I go with the NOA1 date or the date they received it?

Yay! They have moved ahead 3 days since 7/11/06. LOL! Use your NOA1 date. They are just afraid to go past that imaginary line of 3/6/06.

You got that right! At this point I refuse to get excited until it goes past the March 6 date. At the rate they are going that should be in about....... Who knows????

No, it just means they are afraid to step over the Mach 6 line. Now, if they were to move it to March 7 then we can start getting hopefull.

For those of us who are awaiting approvals post-IMBRA from CSC, KEEP WAITING. Our petitions are stacking up like firewood. It appears our worst fears have been answered. Please observe the 06 Mar 2006 processing date for CSC. Call me crazy but I think that is significant because 05 Mar 2006 is the last date not affected by IMBRA compliance. From what I have been reading from many of the members here, it appears that we'll be waiting a while for CSC to catch up on petitions pre-IMBRA. Not unless a miracle just falls from the heavens above, this might take a wee bit longer than any of us anticipated. What I have written is totally speculation. However, to date, CSC has not approved any visas in July from any of the folks here on VJ (that I have noticed). One VJ member wrote, something to the effect, that he will begin planning his wedding and retirement at the same time. Are there any optimists out there to give us hope?

Well, the only optimistic thing I can say is this. If they moved the date to March 6 that means they are done with all the pre-IMBRA petitions. They should be devoting all their time to our petitions now.

I agree with Gary. I only hope they will start picking up the pace. This madness can not continue. They have to be feeling pressure from the congressional and senator inquiries or maybe they are really as dense as we thought.

The congressional inquiries should be passed on to the omnibudsman (sp), so they will be held accountable for their poor service. I read on another thread that VSC was receiving some CSC cases to alleviate their workload. I doubt that though. We would have had at least one at VJ transferred if that was the case.

Let's keep hope that something breaks loose soon.

_______________

3-27-06 Sent I-129F to TSC - Transferred to CSC

3-29-06 NOA 1 Receipt Date

4-04-06 NOA 1 Notice Date

4-04-06 Check clears the bank

7-03-06 Touched - RFE - IMBRA Sent Out

7-08-06 Received RFE - IMBRA - Date 6-23-06 and Postmarked 6-27-06

7-08-06 Stopped by Border Securtiy on NCIC name hit - Identity Theft two years ago and theif used my name as an alias which is now permanently tied to his criminal file as an alias - Border Security very helpful and understanding and apologetic about the situation but they have to verify I was not the perpetratpr.

7-10-06 Sent RFE

7-11-06 Received by CSC

7-19-06 Touched e-mail stating received 7-19-06 (BS)

8-03-06 Wondering ####### is taking so long - 128 days now

8-21-06 Congressional Inquiry

8-24-06 NOA2 WHoooohoooo

I'm gonna bump up the "how to contact your senators thread" on the imbra forum to make sure everyone from March and April at CSC contacts their senators!

Kitkat1 is right. Everyone from March and early April should be contacting there senators and congressman demanding results and answers to this debacle. My congressman's aid was nice but not very helpful, except to give the information I already have. She would not contact them until 30 days has passed since the receipt of my RFE.

My Senators are next. I have put my letter together and will be faxing with the privacy release for the inquiry.

KitKat1... you are always insightful and very proactive.... I like that.

Thanks
