Palin's the smartest politician to have ever walked the earth. Everything she does and says, everything she lets us see and think, is deliberate and purposeful.

AJ, I believe you misoverestimate her.

I think he does too.

He's got the hots for Sarah.

You have two Uncivil Wars going on: GOP has conservatives vs. moderates & Dems have liberals vs. moderates. Both parties are too stupid to figure out that united we stand/ divided we fall is the key.

That's what Newt was trying to explain to the brain dead tea bagging crowd in NY-23.

Newt is a very articulate & intelligent politician, but I just don't see much charisma & lets face it charisma is valued over knowing what you are talking about. I could see him as a VP candidate but I don't see him getting the GOP nomination for President.

He proved his leadership back in 1994.

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

Big Dog,

Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck are just setting us up for the kill. With this staged loss in NY23, they have us right where they want us.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Not debating that point, but for better or worse style is valued more than substance.

That wasn't leadership in 94, that was clout and fear.

But their success in Tuesday’s upstate New York special election, where grass-roots efforts pushed GOP nominee Dede Scozzafava to drop out of the race and helped Conservative Party nominee Doug Hoffman surge into the lead on the eve of Election Day, has generated more money and enthusiasm than organizers ever imagined.

The success? Yeah, Hoffman and the tea baggers lost and what used to be GOP seat in the House for over 130 years is now a seat occupied by a Democrat. What a success indeed!

I hope that the tea baggers get Rubio the GOP nomination for US Senate here in FL. Or that they run Rubio against Crist in the general election should he get the GOP nomination - the more likely scenario seeing that Crist enjoys 50% support within the registered Republican voters. Either way, the odds of the GOP losing the Senate seat in 2010 would greatly improve. Rubio would have close to no shot at winning the general election and Crist would have no shot if the GOP vote is split between him and Rubio. If the GOP runs Crist with no flank from the right, the Senate seat would almost certainly remain in GOP hands. But is seems that the tea baggers are willing to hand the seat to the Democrats to save the principle that no moderate may run for a GOP seat.

Self destruction at it's best. Go for it!

WOW. a democrat happy with yesterday's results! Amazing. Good to see, I hope all Democrats are like this and do nothing to fix the mess they are in.

Also good to see the Republicans give the heave ho to some wussies!

The NY 23 seat is neither here nor there. Obama pulled the Republican out of that seat and gave him an admin job just for that reason. Then the choice was between a Demoncrat or a more liberal Republican until the 3rd pary candidate jumped in. There was a possibilty of a gain for Republicans, but no possibility of a loss in political terms. Nothing to lose, so to speak.

But given the trouncing the Democrats took everywhere else...most of all in NJ, it is s sign that I hope more Democrats blow off as nothing!

VERMONT! I Reject Your Reality...and Substitute My Own!

Happy with yesterday's results? Me? In NY-23 for sure but otherwise, not so much. You must be reading something I didn't type.
