So I was just checking my form editions before filing... It looks like this week they've just brought out a new edition of the I-693. I know it wasn't there last week when I went for my medical as I checked...

It looks like they're honoring the old form through the end of the year... This is what they say:

Current edition is 10/14/2009. Previous editions (Edition 06/05/2008) will be accepted for medical assessments conducted on or before December 31, 2009 only for medical exams conducted on or after November 1, 2009 that utilize the Tuberculin Skin Screening Test (TST). If a civil surgeon utilizes an IGRA test to fulfill the initial TB screening test requirement, the civil surgeon MUST use the October 14, 2009 edition of Form I-693 to record the IGRA result. On or after January 1, 2009, the results of the medical examinations must be recorded on the October 14, 2009 edition of Form I-693 irrespective of the TB test used.

The TB thing is kindof confusing... I had a Tb test but have no idea what IGRA is? I had my medical on 10/26 - so hoping they accept it... I'm mailing the stuff out today... While the form is dated 10/14/2009 it looks like they only put it up yesterday - 11/02/2009...

I dunno the legal language is confusing me... At the time we got our medicals the old form was valid. So hopefully they're honor them...

Hopefully they won't RFE for this since they brought the form out 11/02/2009, though they're calling it the 10/14/2009 form - even though it wasn't available then...
