My fiance and I will be getting married on Jan. 2nd and then applying for adjustment of status. I was looking at everyones evidence for bonifide marriage and I don't think I will have enough. I will get:

1. Joint bank account

2. on medical insurance

3. pictures

4. wedding invitations.

5. Affivadits from family and friends

I don't know how people are able to get on car insurance, credit cards, utility bills without having a SSN#

Does anyone have any suggestions for me??? PLEASE

Are you entering the US on a K1 visa or using a tourist visa (or visa waiver) to enter the US?

As a newlywed couple, you won't have that much evidence of a marriage (at least most don't). The main piece of evidence if of course the marriage certificate.

You don't mention living arrangements - will there be a joint lease/home ownership?

After reading some of your other posts (to get the basic info that would really be helpful to others responding to your questions) you are Canadian, started the K1 process, and are here in the US, decided to go AOS route.

Start building your relationship evidence as best you can. Get gym memberships, BJ's/Costco/Sam's Club memberships, mail addressed to the both of you, etc. There is a lot of anecdotal things that don't require a SSN but are the typical things that a couple does together.

We don't have much either... I heard that most stuff they want to see at the interview... Which will give you at least 3-5 months after you've filed to get stuff together.

We'll have been married about 10 days when we file. We have affidavits, a letter saying we opened a joint bank account, 2 joint credit cards (my husband was able to add me to 2 of his, though I have a social sec number as i've had a work visa for a while - so maybe that's why?) and photos.

My husband has added me to his car insurance but the company still haven't sent us proof, so unless it appears on Monday it won't be going in. We haven't got our wedding pics developed yet, but we will have a huge wedding binder of stuff to show them at the interview. We are submitting pics from throughout the time we dated and vacation pics too.

The Form i-130 does say just one of the list of proof items, so by sending more we should all be fine...
