I don't condone silencing a certain media because it leans left or right, but along the lines of what MC said listen to both & the truth is somewhere in between.

I totally understand why Fox news exists. Clearly prior to them, conservative opinions and voices were not heard.

I find it very hard to believe that Fox News accurately represents "conservative opinion". If that were the case - it's very thin material, to say the least.

I used to watch Fox News because it was entertaining. It still is, but I rarely follow the news nowadays. Whenever I want to know something, I look it up online.

I think I'm just tired of the media. It's "murder" here and "rape" there... it's actually quite depressing. If you believe the media, people are dropping dead at the same rate they do in Team Fortress 2.

It's a matter of degree, more or less. They all are corporations with a bottom line, however, Murdoch has never been ashamed of his approach toward viewership over the quality of journalism. That's why so many media watchdog groups have lambasted Fox News for it's pattern of inaccuracies and blatant propaganda. They are the Walmart of network news, and have change the landscape now for all network news. In a ratings war, other networks have tried to follow their model, which unfortunately appeals to the lowest common denominator - sensationalism.

The White House is a source of blatant propoganda, but you don't seem to mind that at all. In fact, you shill endlessly for them. Whatever enemy they choose at any time, you have taken up their mantle, be it Rush, insurance companies, rich people, whatever. The next enemy that comes along, you will get your marching orders to come here and push Barry's agenda.
