There are protests all over the world today in support of reversing climate change. Sponsored by the organization 350, named after the parts per million of carbon dioxide. Scientists believe that's the limit for heat-trapping carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. We're past that now and some scientists, as the New York Times notes today, think that's probably too ambitious a goal. The whole idea began with Bill McKibben, the environmental writer. Will these protests get teabagger-style coverage? Probably not. A good fight over crowd estimates always helps and so does having a television network devoted to revving up your cause. Meanwhile, it'll be interesting to see where Congress goes on climate change and how Obama handles the upcoming meeting on climate change in Copenhagen.

tu eres todo lo que me equilibra,

If the anti-climate change groups haven't mustered enough people after the last 17 years that's their problem. I'm sure most news networks would love to cover them if there were more than a dozen protestors or if they are as violent as the anti-globalist protestors.

Protestors usually some out to protest the status quo but Obama is Mr. Cap and Trade so why protest?

What tea baggers? I don't recall tea baggers protesting anything.

You really are getting old. Do you at least still recall what you had for dinner?

As for the teabaggers (what a sorry bunch) protesting, here ya' go. Apparently you forgot how to google, too.

I recall you being stupid. When I googled that, your photo came up.

I remember people holding Tea Parties to protest administration policies. Tea baggers are people you and batty man may be more familiar with, but they were not what the protestors called themselves.

the left + science =

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

I know it will be painful for you, but you need to update your google to 2009. Stupidity still begins with a "B", but Barack is president now, not Bush.

My google is all up to date but you evidently need to take some spelling classes.
