Hi guys

One more question .....

We paid the AOS, and the IV fees, I can go ahead send in my affidavit support package...I864 forms,

in order to make the process faster, can my wife download the form DS-230 and turn them in with other paperwork, the same time i turn in my I864 forms?

I know that we need to include the document coversheet of the receipt AOS and IV....how long would i expect to get a interview date?

Once you pay the AOS fee, you (the petitioner) can send in the 864 and documentation

Once the IV bill is paid, the benificerary can send in the 230 package with all the documentation and yes, she can just download the form and sign Part I

As far as an interview date... First you have to get the case completed (about 2-3 weeks) THEN the embassy will schedule interviews... Each consulate is different so you should check out the PI forum and similar timelines to see how long from case complete it is till interviews on average... Nobody can give you an exact timeframe...

I can feel how excited you are, she can now start dowloading DS-230 forms and fill them up, gather all required documents and tell her to send it to you right away after the completion. If you got everything ready, you will be very fast. Interview date is unpredictable. Goodluck!!

I am so confused....what the heck is >paid the AOS, and the IV fees? Also....if you just file a I-130 is that good enough for CR-1? Or do I have to file the I-129 also?

AOS = Affidavit of Support. $70.

IV = Immigrant Visa. $400.

I130 is for a CR1. 129 is for K3 as well, I believe.

Go the the guides here on VJ... They list all the necessary documents....

2 Passport size pictures.

PCC.

Marriage Certificate.

Birth Certificate.

Cover sheet.

Passport copy.

I think that covers it.
