DS 230-7988 HELP!

Hello everybody !! i have some questions my husband and me we alredy get IV send and paid we are just waiting for the DS230-7988 , is it the same thing as the package of instructions?, do you know how long it take to arrive the DS230-7988???

I hope some one can answer my questions, and thank you very much !

First the IV bill payment has to be entered into the St. Louis Center and thus to NVC. In about 2 weeks after the IV bill payment is processed, NVC generates DS 230.

I will save u some time. U don't have 2 wait 2 get it in the mailbox. keep calling nvc and checking if they received the payment u mailed them. Once they received it,u can mail them the ds-230without waiting 3 weeks 2 receive it. i did it,and it works. here is the link that someone created to assist u. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=117

NO. Please do not advise people, unless you know for sure it worked for someone. Receiving payments by NVC does not mean you can send DS 230. One can ONLY send DS 230 after NVC generates the DS 230. Remember, NVC does not generate DS 230 as soon as they receive the IV Bill payment. Usually, NVC generates DS 230 in about 2 weeks after they receive the IV Bill payment. If you send NVC the DS 230 before they generate it, they will happily return it to you which will cause further delay for you.

Hi Haydee, I sent my IV bill last 6/27/06 and still waiting for my instruction package (DS 230)
