Hi yall.

On the G-325A form, right down the bottom it says-

“Applicant: Print your name and Alien Registration Number in the box outlines by heavy border below”

I don’t understand how I’m supposed to fill this out. I haven’t got an Alien Registration Number? Do I just leave it blank? Or fill out my name but leave the ‘Alien Registration’ space blank?

Any help is much appreciated.

Whenever you run into a question where you do not have what they ask for...enter "None". Many of these forms are used for multiple visas for multiple purposes...not all the questions apply from every form. The only form used ONLY for K-1s is the DS-156K. All others are multiple use forms. You will see the G-325a again for the AOS and then you WILL have an A number.

Ahhh that makes a lot of sense. I was wondering why some of the forms asked for information that there is no way I could have had. Thanks for the info!

Ok, now I'm worrying, I did 'none' for everything else except this part, is that a chance for a red flag ?

I wouldn't worry about it. You surely aren't the first to do this. Just keep it in mind for future reference: you should never leave anything blank on a form - if the answer is none, write "None." If the question does not apply to you, write "N/A."

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.
