I-94A

I am photocopying documents for AOS and noticed that the guard where I crossed the border stapled a card in my passport that says CBP I-94A Departure Record. Also at the bottom of it, it says "multiple". Is this right???

Yeah, this is the new I-94 with the RFID tag built into it, so they can track you as you go across the border more easily. I think this version is kept when crossing the border, as opposed to the old I-94 which was always taken off you when you left the USA.

Just a note, when I crossed on my AP, they didn't put a new I94 into my passport. I questioned it and was told, by a supervisor, I didn't need one. All I needed was a stamp-which I got.

I have my AOS interview next week so I'll update everyone on what happened with that!!!

When you use your AP, you aren't being admitted to the US, you are being paroled into the US.
