KI VISA and round trip ticket

We are in the process of buying our ticket, my fiance will be coming in with a K1 Visa and I'm actually going to the interview with him and to come together. Do you know if it will be a problem if we do a round trip ticket for him? Do you think this may be something questionable with immigration

no, it shouldnt be a problem.. but I wouldnt buy a ticket until there is a visa in his hand.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

No. Make SURE the ticket originates in his country, NOT the USA. Do not buy a round trip and think you will use the "return leg". I promise you will never have a problem with immigration because they won't let him board the plane. If you miss the outbound flight, they cancel the return ticket.

Do not buy the ticket until visa is in hand.
