I'm in Delhi trying to survive the onslaught of crackers and thought I'd wish the Asia: South folks Happy Diwali!!!

I'm going to hit the market for some sweets :dance::dance: They look SO good - granted I have no clue what they are though....maybe I'll take some pics and post them?

Happy Diwali everyone

I just realized last night that its going to be Diwali on 17th, I think I will light some candles in front of our apartment, can't do anything else. Diwali is one celebration I loved the most, bursting crackers and all those sweets; my grandma calls me Phoolen Devi during Diwali :P

aww to the mithai packet

I was really down last night, diwali is the only festival which I would really take part in and enjoy thoroughly. I was going through my temper tantrum, melt down and everything all together. Hubster tried to cheer me up but nothing really worked. Then he grabbed some candles and me and we light some outside our home, it was fun trying to light candles in the cold weather, we both were shivering and laughing at the same time :P

That is so sweet.. I sure do have my "meltdown days" too and I can get so completely difficult and miserable. It is always nice to have a man who tries to put up with it and cheer you up
