Hi, I am currently doing my AOS forms. I was just wondering.... Do i also make a separate I-485 Package for my son who came with me as a K2 holder (DERV.) who is only 12 years old? Does he still need to fill out G325A form,I-864 & I-485? I hope anyone can help me out because I just got off the phone talking to a customer rep for USCIS and he told me he does not know what to tell me but to just do research or to call a lawyer for assistance (which i found funny). Please, your answers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Best regards.

yes, you will need to submit a separate I-485 for your son. submit both applications in one envelope. I believe the fee when filing with a parent is $600.

need to submit a g-325a between ages of 14 to 79. he will also need a I-864.

here's a link to instructions for the I-485.

So just to be clear: Forms for my 12 year old son:

G-325A - No, because he is only 12.

I-485 - Yes

I-864 - Yes

Is this correct?

May I also ask, how much you payed for your son's adjustment and on the I-485 form regarding FATHER"S INFO - Do I put his biological father's info or his step father's info (which is my current husband)? Thank you for your time.

G-325A - No, because he is only 12. - Correct

I-485 - Yes - Correct

I-864 - Yes - Correct - just make a exact copy of the affidavit of support that you'll be submitting for ur AOS.

Is this correct?

May I also ask, how much you payed for your son's adjustment - $600 and on the I-485 form regarding FATHER"S INFO - Do I put his biological father's info or his step father's info (which is my current husband)? - Biological father's Info although i couldnt remember answering a kind of question like this for my son,i guess this is for the G325A which ur son dont need to submit. Thank you for your time. You're Welcome
