OOOOOH! My account was updated today. I went away for 5 minutes and when I came back, it was updated on 01/08/2010. I am excited. It won't be long now. Someone has my file on their desk. The box has been opened.

I am just going to go outside and shovel snow. I can hardly stand the suspense. I had been praying at the beginning of each class I teach "Please be the adjudicator in California. Let him or her process my application quickly." Hopefully tomorrow I will wake up to an excellent email. For now, MUST SHOVEL SNOW and GET AWAY FROM COMPUTER.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Congratulations! We are so happy for you!

BTW, I checked our time using Igor's list and discovered to my dismay, that our adjudication for the NOA2 was moved back again for a 2nd time. What gives? I am really sad about this.

Anyway, we are wishing you the best!

Love,

Tom & Cherry

The time your case will be adjudicated is based on other peoples approvals. There haven't been many this week, so the proposed dates have gotten further and further away from today. On Wednesday the time was between Jan. 11 and Jan. 17. Then it was Jan. 17 to something. Then it moved back further.

Once other people update their timelines when they receive their NOA2s, then our dates will change to be "next" based on when our NOA1s were. It can change in an instant so don't stress too much about it.

Ok, this could just be a strange coincidence, BUT ... at my office, I have caller ID. Received a phone call from a number I didn't recognize, no name listed, answered it, identifying my workplace and my name and the caller disconnected the call. I immediately went to whitepages.com and did a reverse number lookup, which found the number and stated it is an unlisted number from Orange, California. Tried to call the number back and it rang, was silent for a while, and then gave me a fast busy signal (obviously not a number taking incoming calls). This was strange to me, because I know no one from that area.... so google searched it when I got home. Orange, CA just happens to be kinda close to ... wait for it, wait for it .... Laguna Niguel. Is it possible that they (USCIS) would call my office to confirm or check my employment? Just kinda weird ... but I'll take it!

Any idea what the CSC operating hours are? Do they process petitions on Saturdays? My NOA1 was October 7, so I'm as anxious as can be! Please let it be this week! Not so much as an update so far...

Hi guys,

This morning I woke up to a SMS message on my phone. It said your case xxxxxx has been updated. I could not wait to jump on my email, sure enough there was also an email message that said: We have approved your petition! NOA2 !! I'm so excited! I most definitely did not expect it so soon. I was expecting around February some time to get this.

The confusing part was when I checked online, my status went straight to Post decision activities. I thought that it would go through the previous few steps first. I guess that "interview" does not refer to the interview at the consulate as the status jumped through it.

Anyway just wanted to share this news. For those who filed in October, yours is probably coming soon! Good luck!

Woo hoo! Congrats!

WE GOT NOA2! And before I left the UK and my fiance too! We've been hugging and celebrating with wine on this end.

I haven't gotten an email, but my status on the USCIS site moved to Post-Decision Activity. I'm so amazingly thrilled right now!

Got the email now! Thank goodness it says approved, because I just realized on the USCIS website that "post-decision activity" can mean the decision was to reject the petition.

Sorry Beth & John - I didn't mean to reply to you, but was so excited I pressed Reply on your post accidentally.

No worries! I'm just excited for all the approvals today! I"m sitting on this forum, if you can't tell. Also waiting for my friend in real life, lilacvioletiris, to come back and say she got her email/text/update on the USCIS site :)

Hi, Lilacvioletiris,

Congrats on the updating of your account...we are excited for you guys, too! Did you know that the USCIS calls the K1 petitions the "honeybunny files"?

How can you tell if your account is updated? I would like to check on ours.

Hope you don't tire yourself out too much with clearing the snow away.

cheers from your fellow honey-bunny filers,

Tom and Cherry
