I-864 qualification

Hi Guys

i have seen on VJ there were some people who qualified I-864 according to the poverty guideline

but were asked for co-sponsor at the interview time because they were over 60 years of age.

Is that True?

i was jut curious

I cant answer that? I would imagine that if you qualify based on income, that would be OK... However, be sure you have a letter of employment (or if qualifying on assets that you have proof). I have not heard of being denied specifically because of age??

Where on VJ have you seen that? I have not heard of such a case. I have heard of embassies being reluctant to accept very old co-sponsors, especially when their income was near the poverty level, but not primary sponsors.
