is there a specific time of year that k-1 visas are approved faster?

Aren't Canadian visas the fastest of the fast? SO fast, that you will have a hard time gathering all the docs and proofs needed for the interview! :star:

Not at all. Vancouver and Montreal are notoriously slow in giving interview dates. Kiev, on the other hand, can get you a date within a week. Some of the Scandanavian consulates are reportedly very fast also.

Yikes, don't let the Canuck Board hear you say that!

Believe us, it's ALL over the Canada forum, we've broken out the beers and Canadian monopoly over there. Since it's not snowing yet.

I think I might get an interview date next week for some time in December, but at this point, they've broken me and I have come to accept that I have no control over any of it. I'm still hoping to be in the US before 2010.

Brad, if they hire more Montreal people, that part of the process will be faster than maybe I've waited, but it seems like there's such a backlog, who knows.. VSC is a whole other thing. So yeah. Want to rent an apartment in North Toronto? : P
