Authorities say a couple, upset over the slowness of their Kentucky Fried Chicken order, assaulted a man who asked them to stop yelling profanities for the sake of children in line. The couple was arrested Thursday after witnesses told police the couple beat the man as he was leaving the restaurant.

Police say 31-year-old Jared Garfagna of Marshfield punched the man in the head, and then Garfagna's girlfriend, 24-year-old Sara Mohn, kicked the man. The victim had cuts on his eyelid and wrists.

Mohn has been charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Garfagna has been ordered to appear in court on assault and battery charges. It's unclear whether either has hired an attorney.

A move like Jack Azz alone would not be tolerated 20 years ago but is quite funny and cool now. I could go on for hours discussing what was not acceptable a good 20 years ago, that is now the norm. I don't know what bubble you live in but you need to get out of it. You and I must have had a totally different upbringing.

You also seem to deny the difference in culture between the UK and US. Every man for themselves is not exactly a British trait now is it. Can you say the same for the US? Answer carefully considering you are in Jersey, and a stone throw away from NYC.

Anyway, you obviously cannot find a causation here that doesn't contradict statements you have made in the past about exposure to violence etc; as such, you are just going to deny it.

BY, I don't know what possessed people to behave like this and neither do you. Whatever you think the cause to be, you're not going to get the truth about the events from a bloody news headline.

The fact is, society has changed a lot in the last 50 years - I doubt there's anyone that would seriously deny this.

What I do deny is your insistence that sensational news headlines, by themselves, are indicative of some sort of broad sociological decline.
