for some strange reason there are just cases similar to yours, AOS approved but no online updates or it still shows "pending" or in process.

usually too the EAD is processed much earlier so that you get an approval weeks or months before you get an interview schudule.

anyway, what's important is you have your interview schedule already, because some take a lot longer. if after you AOS approval you still don't hear anything about your EAD, call about it right away!

You can't rely on the case status at USCIS website. The last time I checked my application for employment, it says, Card Ordered for Production but I received my approved employment card last 9/28/2009 and today I checked it again, it says, Post Decision Activity, it moved one step back. How's that possible? It is better to just wait for the actual mail.

I totally agree, the USCIS website is not very current. I just got my interview letter and online it still says "Initial Review". I also have yet to receive my EAD or Advance Parole! Have you heard of getting an Interview date before getting the EAD or Advance Parole? I hope it is in the mail this week. The lesson to be learned from this, check your mail every day!
