My beautiful wife came here with no castle. She knew how poor I was. She gave up a wonderful job as an elementary shcool principal at age 34 to be with me.

Then her brrother got sick, and is dying, and she had to go back to the Phils for 3 weeks, then came back again, to me, and my poor livelihood, knowing exactly what she was coming back to. Yet she loves me, and gave up all that was so good in her life to be with me, and I am so thankful, and proud of her. I admire her. I adore her. I respect her. She makes me rich, because she is of greater value than any castle or any priceless gem... Greater to me than all the riches of the world.

I love her...so much....

I really appreciate your post. It brings things all down to earth. When a man reaches into his mid 40's he can only then appreciate how fragile life is and that the material things seem less and less important. Having love and loved one's in one's life is what truly matters. The material things that I thought were once important just seem like clutter in my life now. I have a sweet pinay that cares so much for me now. It is all that matters. I'm just glad to be alive and still have all my capacities.

I must agree with the last few posts. I used to worry only about making money and collecting cars. Now they seem more in the way, then good to me. Having someone to love(JANET) in my life and looking at life in whole, brings a new light to my life. Nice material things are nice to have, but no longer a major priority in my life. My priority if my "Wife to be."

Congrats on your new home Jack!!! If I am ever down in Texas, you gotta take me BASS FISHING!!! :P

I got the backseat Open anytime you want to fish.

I am about 30 minutes from D/FW airport, so catch a plane and lets go Fishing.

Fall and winter time we have excellent Bass Fishing down here, We have Power Plant lakes that are heated and stay around 70 degrees even in the dead of winter, when it below freezing outside. And the bass think it's Spring time and they are spawning and feeding and it's common to catch at least a 5lb bass each trip, if not multiple 5 lbs.

September 1st most of the Fisherman, take up Duck / Deer / Dove hunting, and the lakes are far less crowded.
