Assembling the I864 Packet....

Just some random questions about assembling the I864 packet......do we need to punch the 2 holes on top of the whole packet like what VJ guide suggested for the I130 packet? And I read about writing the NVC case number on every page, so let say to write it on the top right hand corner of every page is okay then? Can we use staples for the different documents? Or if paper clip is preferred?

ANy suggestion is appreciated. I'm planning to send off the packet tomorrow! Thanks everyone!

Do not punch holes in anything.

You can and should write your case number in the upper right hand corner of every page of every piece except original certificates (birth, marriage, police etc.). For those you can write it on a post-it note and stick that on.

You can staple multiple pages of the same thing together (i.e. if your tax return is 2+ pages) but just put a big clip around the whole thing.

I used 2 hole ACCO clips at the top of ALL my petitions. Just sent the last one. Only staple was stabling the check to the cover letters in a small Zip lock.

Put A# or MNL# at the top of most all paperwork.

I used clips too and write case numbers on everything.

I'm a little confused about this aspect. The instructions for the I-864 says to staple everything.
