Phopho06, your profile shows you are a K-1 and you are asking about doing 'adjustment' but you talk about the US Embassy and customer service and the appointment for uscis.gov. I am a bit confused - are you in the US or are you still in the Philippines?

I will guess that you are talking about doing the 'Adjustment of Status' application because you are already in the US. Is that right? If you are in the US, you do not mean the US Embassy - those are only in foreign countries. The right name is USCIS - United States Citizenship and Immigration Service. They are the ones who have the 1-800 number that you call for information. They are the ones who decide about your AOS application.

When you submit your Adjustment of Status application, you don't have to request an interview appointment if that is what you are asking about. USCIS will decide if they want to interview you. If they do, they will send you a letter telling you when and where to go for an interview. They may also decide that they do not need to interview you and will just send you your green card instead.

If you have questions about your application, you can make what is called an 'Infopass Appointment". You do that by going to their website at http://www.uscis.gov and on the right hand side select 'Schedule an Appointment'. Then you follow the instructions and you can set up an appointment to go in person and talk to an officer. This is not the same thing as an interview for your AOS, this is to answer any questions you might have or if you have a problem.

I hope that this information helps.

I have also moved your post from the US Citizenship Forum to the Adjustment of Status forum as this is a better place in which to get answers.

why do you need to get an interview schedule? did you already have one and couldn't attend it? that's about the only reason why you would need a reschedule for an AOS interview.

anyway, the number to call if you can't attend the interview is on the back of ALL your official notices.
