Welcome to the US Govinda!

Welcome back Dolma. that's the best thing about NYC, transportation isn't too bad even though they keep raising the fares and all. Glad you guys are managing, hang in there, things get tight then it get better as time goes on.

Gone but not Forgotten!

Thanks everybody for your good wishes.... Govi likes it here but of course we will see when winter comes, LOL... He found a job cooking at an Indian-Pakistani restaurant...the pay is not great but he enjoys the work and the best thing is it's only a 10-minute walk from our apartment... He brought home some samosas that he had made and I kid you not, they were the best samosas I had ever had...

 congratulations on Govi's job, you must be so glad that he didn't have to wait at all to get a job. Doesn't matter what the pay is, this sure will give him confidence and will give him a chance to make friends.

Oh technical question, since Govi's POE was after your 2 year anniversary, did he receive 10 year GC without any hassle?
