I asked this before but I don't think I worded it right...When the date changes on the online status ...does that mean our case has been "touched"??? IF so, why would they keep touching our I-129f when they have sent us an RFE??? and only just sent it back??? But the date kept changing before we got the RFE..anyone know???

Every time your case is even so much as breathed on, it gets logged. For all anyone knows, they could have spilled a cup of coffee on your file and moved it across the office-where that file goes, the paper trail (touches) will follow.

I was just about to post the very same question. But my date did not change before I got the RFE, only once, I believe. Excuse my expression, but I feel about as nervous as a ####### in church. Thanks for posting your question, and thanks Gwen for posting the answer.

BTW - we only ever got ONE touch thru the whole process - honestly I wouldn't tie yourself up in knots wondering if a touch 'means' something, or the lack of one means 'something else'.

it sounds very wrong..and very rude...wonder how ian would feel if another man were breathing heavy on our case?? pmsl...i would say how would he feel about a woman breathing heavy on our case but i already know that he is like any other typical male and likes the idea of two women....OI OI OI...what is it about that??? hmmmmmmmmm i think i have another thread there...lol

touching aint always a good thing..... check out this mess below, I thought there must be an approval around the corner , yesterday Im notified of another RFE , today they are STILL touching me...this is just RUDE!!!!!. Even if its an error and we are getting a duplicate RFE , its going to waste another week or more sorting it out

Hmm that's debatable. At least this way, you know that they are working ON your case and that it's not somewhere in limbo, or worse, lost. That's NOT to say that if you aren't getting touched then it's lost, ok? So anyone who read that and hasn't been touched, calm down haha.

As Jaylen said, being touched, or the lack thereof....means absolutely very little.
