Greetings,

My wife and I are closing on a house in about two weeks, and she's in the middle of her AOS. I understand we're supposed to file an AR-11 within 10 days of moving, but that's just registration. I'm more concerned about making sure notices, requests for additional evidence, and etc get to the new address and that nothing slips through the cracks.

At what point - and via what method - should I inform the USCIS about our new address? Now? Sometime between now and when we move? Immediately after moving? Will USCIS notices get forwarded with the rest of my mail via the USPS?

Thanks in advance!

In order to change your address with the USCIS your wife will need to file AR-11 which can be done electronically and you as her sponsor who is also moving, need to file form I-865.

My husband and I moved last year and we sent our forms as soon as we had our new address in writing and had our new keys in our hands.
