hi everybody

i really need advice,i have my interview the day after tommorow,in casablanca,for CR1,my son aswell,anyway,i did prepare 3 folders,with a lot of evidence,emails,fone records(we talk 2 eachother 6 times a day,for 1 year),letters from his family and friends,bank statements,financial evidence shows that he s been supporting me ,pics of us,and with family,an american credit card on my name,(american express),skype converstaion....etc

the only thing that im worried abt,is that we did not have a traditional wedding, because i ve been married before, and it s not proper to have a big ceremony,so we don have a wedding pics, and i m conserned about that,do you think that this is a red flag?and do you think that they will ask my yson any question,?,he is 6 yearsold.

i really need opinions and advices.

i filed for CR1,not k3,it s a mistake!sorry guys

You sound very well prepared already! Did you have any sort of wedding party? Do you have pics of you and him with your family members?

I dont know about Casa in particular but it sounds like you have some great evidence for a bonofide realitionship.

However, our consulate didnt want to see any proof other than pics, especially of me with his family.

If they ask why there are no wedding pics, you can explain like you just did to us....its not customary for a second wedding.

I think they are usually way easier on female applicants, especially if your husband is also an arab muslim.

Hopefully you wont have any problems and you can have your family together soon. :)

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

How did you get married? In Morocco? By an Abdul?

Because whoever, or however it happened, you could have that person write a letter perhaps.

Good luck on your interview, you'll do fine.

You need to share with the CO that your family doesn't feel that it was proper for you to have another ceremony. There are women that have been married more then once in Morocco and they had ceremonies. Just go in there and tell the truth about your relationship and INSHALLAH you and your son will get the visa.

They do like to see pictures. But if it is normal in your culture to not have a wedding party then you must be prepared to explain this. But for sure take the pictures in that you do have. They looked through every single one of our pictures.

i know what you mean about the second marriage ceremony ...

my fiance Azzeddine has been married before too... and he says it it not nesesary to have a big ceremony again he did that already... But he said we would have one for me if I wanted it ... however we willl be married here.. and possibly go back ina few years and have mock ceremony to just enjoy the experience....

GOOD LUCK in you interview... let us know the outcome........

I dont think they ask the children anything.. that is just not fair to ask kids something they really have no clue about......

Take all photos .....
