Thanks Richard. Seriously though I am doing alright. We are coming down the home stretch and the wait will soon be over. How is Joanna enjoying her days by herself?

Can never have toooooooooo many hugs :)

Joanna is doing quite well. Our next door neighbor (korean) has asked Joanna to come over for coffee and stuff. I have taught her how to make double fudge chocolate brownies (which A. are to die for and B. She really likes), so she is going to make a batch and go over sometime next week. Filip has a friend in school from Guatemala and he has spent the night at our place.... well... anyway, his Mother has kind of starting to befriend her and I think Wednesday next week they are going out for coffee.

We live in a rather large house which she insists on taking care of (i.e. I had to fire my house keepers) :)

She has not started driving yet... grrrrrrrrrrrr, I wish she would... since that will give her a lot more independence.

That said.. I did play hookie from work yesterday and fooled around ALL morning... so I like her home :D

Summer break starts early here... sometime in May... So by the time the kids go back to school in August, I think she will be ready to go to work... we'll see...

Morning all!

I've been off work since last Wednesday with Jessie who had her spring break already so that's why I've been MIA...hehe!

Lee - Glad to hear that Oksana and her Dad talked and things will be moving forward for you guys soon! BIG HUGS buddy!!

Richard - Sounds like Joanna and the kids are settling in pretty well! I'm sure your right that by the time next school year comes around she'll be ready to get out of the house!

Igor - We're doing great, sweetie! Sounds like your having fun!

As for our AOS...our cases got transferred to CSC last week so it looks like we'll be able to complete this and get Pat's GC without an interview! :dance: Really hoping to have that or his EAD soon so he can start looking for work....he's dying to get out of the house!

I had a great weekend. I went out on Friday with some firefighter buddies of mine. We don't get to go out as often since we work different schedules. It was fun. Saturday I went to megacon which is kind of like Comic-Con, but smaller. I had never been and it was interesting. I will say that while it was fun and very different. I have one major complaint and that there was not enough shame in that room. I am not saying that they should be ashamed, but I saw some things where a little bit more judgement could have been used. Also there were some famous people there that were charging to have your picture taken with them. A deplorable act if you ask me, but nobody does so whatever. There was one actor who I would have been willing to pay to have my picture taken with, but Billy Dee Williams did not have a can of Colt .45 with him. That was not meant to be racist, because I love Billy Dee. Come on he was freaking Lando. That commercial he did for Colt .45 was hilarious and thats how I wanted to remember the moment. But he didn't have a can so he could not get me to part with my ten dollars. Yes I am still bitter about it.

She doesn't have the ticket yet. Thats the week that the three of us all agreed on. It gives her dad enough time to get himself together and prepare for his daughter to leave. I am relieved to see the wait end.
