Second Post.

I was wondering if anyone can help me out!

My now husband and I tried to get a K1 visa before we got married but were denied because of not enough evidence.

So would he have an alien registration number although he was denied or do i put none in the I-130?

Also does anyone know if i would have an alien registration number if i became a citizen because of my parents?

I have a certificate of citizenship and on the right it has an INS registration number is that the same as an alien registration number?

Someone please help!!!!!

Were you born in America? If you were you would not have an NA# but you would have citizenship. Please clarify.

ok so you have a green card because of your parents right? If you have citizenship you are still registered with an INS so you should state that on your paperwork. He is not a citizen and does not have an A# but he will be givin one upon point of entry. List N/A for him and list your INS number for you and it should be fine.

If USCIS approved the I-129f petition and it was the embassy that denied him a K-1 visa then he will have an A# from his prior application, it will be on the top of the I-129f approval notice (see picture). If USCIS denied the petition then I've no idea...

You are a "legal" citizen according to the law... he is not... all you must do is speak the truth...he is not legal until he is made legal through immigration law. File your I-130 to do this and go through the process. If you are legal and you both can prove binifide marriage then it's nothing to worry about.

Good point! has he filed before?

A K1 does not mean he was actually issued an A# even if he was denied. she must review the paperwork

Did they send you a denial notice? If they issued an A# it would be on there for him, if not he probably does not have one.
