Is the I-134 used to get a fiance to the US legally binding?

Where can I find proof of what you are saying about the I-134 not being legally binding? I have someone that will possibly do the co-sponsor for us, but they don't want to go just from what these posts say.. they want proof...

a. Because INA 212(a)(4)© and INA 213A require the use of Form I-864, Affidavit of Support Under Section 213A of the Act, for so many classes of immigrants, the use of Form I-134, Affidavit of Support, has been reduced considerably. Nevertheless, there still are circumstances when Form I-134 will be beneficial. This affidavit, submitted by the applicant at your request, is not legally binding on the sponsor and should not be accorded the same weight as Form I-864. Form I-134 should be given consideration as one form of evidence, however, in conjunction with the other forms of evidence mentioned below.

Have your potential co-sponsor read the VJ guides to see that the I134 is replaced by the very binding I864 at AOS. So their I134 is moot at that point.

Off topic a bit - OP, will you be able to qualify to be the sponsor at the Adjustment of Status phase? If not, you will be dealing with a binding contract for yourself and any co-sponsor.
