Hi Peeps,

My hubby and I just got word that we're having our interview on October 16th (well technically, my interview). I was wondering if anyone here is having theirs around that time too. And when you guys are planning to having the medical exam done and whatnot.

Thanks.

Hi Ree, my name is Kaye. :)

We just got our NVC Case number and were informed that our file has already been forwarded to the US Embassy Manila last September 4th.

Which visa are you applying for? We are applying for K3 and K4, waiting for instructions on what to do next after we become documentarily qualified (meaning our file as been received and entered into their system).

We're hoping for an early interview...wanna be out of here before Halloween! lol

Hi Kaye. We did the CR1. We're good to go except for the medical exam and of course the dreaded interview. Lol. Been having mixed thoughts on the whole thing though. Have the two done in one shot (one trip) or tackle each separately? What do you two plan on doing?

Wow Well I hope you guys get it done before Halloween then. You lucky girl you. Even with a pinkslip after October, I'm still spending Christmas here (home turf I mean). Waiting on an aunt and uncle to come down from Sweden for the holidays. So definitely next year.

Hi Ree.

Would have been nice for us to do a CR1 also, but some pressing circumstances at home (Florida) really make the idea of being even remotely stuck in AP at the NVC level a completely unsavory thought...financially and emotionally unsound and heartbreaking, to say the least. The sooner we are reunited, the happier and healthier (in mind and body) we will all be.

We will keep calling the Embassy until we are qualified, then I will set the interview date as early as possible (with the medical exam well within a week or so before).

Good luck to us all. :)

hello again, i will have my interview next month, i'll have my med exam one week before the interview so there is still ample time for rest and last minute preparation for the big day.. and also we're not sure if the med exam will just take two days, there are cases that they will need for additional tests before you can proceed for the interview..

Hi Ginalisa.

When is your interview? I'm still debating when to have my medical exam. Hubby urging to do it all in one week, but I don't want a tight schedule. I'm debating whether to do it all in one go or do it separately.

Oh hey where are you guys gonna be staying by the way?

Hello,

I will have my interview on the first week of Oct.

I will have my med exam on the 21st of this month. I am still looking for an affordable yet comfortable place to stay somewhere in Malate or Ermita.

If I may suggest, have your medical two weeks or one week before your interview, it will give you time to recover, because my friend got sick after her med exam. There are some cases that their med exam took more than two days. You can also rest and you have time to do the last minute preparations for you big day.

But if you would do it all at one week, you can do that. If you miss your interview because of the medical exam St. Lukes will schedule your interview to the embassy.
