purpose of G-325A submission

Hello,

I currently has K-1 visa, just got married 2 weeks ago, now trying to file I-485/AOS.

Well here's my question, on G-325A there is a box, right next to the one for signature of applicant,

saying " This form is submitted in connection with an application for:" then giving you 3 choices of

"Naturalization", "Status as Permanent Resident", and "Other (Specify)"

Am I supposed to check on "Status as Permanent Resident"? or on "Other (Specify)" and write I-485petition?

The sample this site is providing doesn't check any of them.... so I'm kinda confused now.

If anyone can gimme the instruction for this, that would be soooooo appreciated.

hi,

yes because you are applying to adjust status to permanent resident so that is exactly the box you need to check (Status as Permanent Residet)

Status as Permanent Resident...if you look at the sample forms under AOS it shows you maybe your looking at a different 325A example form, there are a few different samples depending on which stage and what visa.
