Hi everyone, had my first ultrasound today and I was relieved to see ONE big head and not two, people kept telling me that based on how sick I am that its twins! The damn woman was so mean, I asked to hear the heartbeat and she said its not necessary and its too loud o_O! Then I asked for a print out and she asked me if this is our 1st, she had a "why are you excited" attitudes. Ugh!

But she gave us a nice clear print out. Hubby was excited like a kid in a candy store!

Broke down and called the City Clerk's office in Niagara Falls today. They told me that our license was mailed out on the 13th, and we should have gotten it by now, and that if we don't get it in another week or so, we can mail them $10 and they will send us another copy through the mail, so it can just get lost again. Well, they didn't say that last part, but that's probably how it will work, knowing my luck. UGH. Oh, and I'm waiting to hear back from the place we went through about the status of our wedding pictures, which aren't here, either.

Having the wedding in Niagara Falls was supposed to make everything better, but it didn't. :( I think I'm going to go back to bed now. Running off 2 hours of sleep, and crying for about a half hour has completely depleted my energy level. :(

I hope you all are having a better day than I am!

Frenzy relax. I know its frustrating but how about you start filling out ALL those forms by hand? Don't sweat the certificate because you're not ready to send your papers off. I suggest sending the extra $10 just to be safe and if the 1st one comes, you'll have two :)

Good news from Niagara Falls this morning: Our license was returned to them! Turns out they wrote our address on the envelope wrong, so they are going to send it back out today! YAY!

Jenn - glad you're back safe, and I'm sorry that the trip wasn't 100% agreeable with you

Krystle - Aww, I hope the nausea subsides enough to where it's tolerable, if not completely, at least. I'm sure you only wish it was go completely... I wish I had more advice, but maybe try nibbling on some saltine crackers? That's what I'm told to do when I've got it... but I don't know if the same rules apply to sickness nausea and pregnancy nausea.. Sorry. :(

Thats great news about the certificate!!!

I could eat a whole factory of crackers and still be sick, just my luck... I'm 3 weeks away from the end of the 1st trimester so hopefully relief is around the corner!

Got our license in the mail and I'm going to start the name change process on Monday! I'm actually kind of excited about it! (I'm sure that will pass...) It feels all official now, hehe. It's a very nice feeling, and I can't wait until we're done with USCIS for 2 years...

We leave for Turkey on Friday. He's so excited, but I am nervous... and I am afraid he is goign to go and not come back...but I am sure that is a silly fear. I am just praying this goes well.

Jenn, I'm sure everything will be fine. He loves you and you love him. :)

Mathew has had his greencard since the 16th of October, but from the looks of it, it had been approved for at least 2 weeks before we ever got notification. But at least we've got it. Now he's just looking for jobs and trying to start our life together. I can't wait to get out of moms house, it's really driving me crazy. I'd love to be on our own by christmas, to have our own little christmas tree and our very own place together but I dont think that will happen. Guess we'll see.

Jenn your fear is not silly at all, I remember you expressed to us about his dad wanting him to marry someone else so I would be nervous going back as well. BUT Fuat loves you VERY much, he expresses that on Kerr's website, he expresses it while you were sick and I think all that you two have been through is enough to make you confident that he won't stay. You know your man Jenn and I'm sure you know what he will and will not do. Please keep us posted because I get so concerned about you when I haven't heard from you for too long. I don't know why I thought you guys moved already :unsure:

I advise you to save and then move, try your very best not to rush out.

Me and G are still at my family's home and we can afford to move but if we do, things will be very tight! We can't afford, or I should say, I'm not comfortable with the thought of moving out with a paycheck and depending on the next to pay the 1st month's rent. So just try to be patient and save all you can. Unless you want to trade places with me? I live with my grandmother, mother, sister and her 3 kids ages (2, 6 and 12) and they run around, scream, fight and play DAY and NIGHT :D
