LOL i've just received another email from the USCIS about my green card, that is now three of them I've had over the past few days...

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On October 22, 2009, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you.

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

On October 22, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later.

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On October 27, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS.

The emails seem to have been sent back to front! I'd expect them to be in this order:

1) Current Status: Approval notice sent

2) Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

3) Current Status: Card production ordered

Congrats you're approved!  This is one of two emails you should receive when your Green card is approved. This email is about "Welcoming the new permanent resident" and the USCIS sends out a letter. The 2nd email which you should get later today will say "Card Production ordered" and naturally it means what it says.

Congrats again

Thanks! I'm confused earlier, I thought there's something else we need to do. Anyway, I can't sleep until wee hours so I checked my case online. I woke up my husband and told him, I guess we're approved. But not so sure 'coz I am confused.

This is so great..... Husband will stop being silly scared that I will be throw out of US.

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you... thank you.... thank you

congrats! so happy for u!

Hey guys!

Anyone explain to me, what this things mean....

On October 26, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later.

During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision.

I am kinda confuse.... thanks...

 Congrats....sorry been away busy for a few but again CONGRATULATIONS!!!
