hi everyone i entered in aq false name 17 yrs ago but i am a 245 i beneficiary i am filling out the aos papers and i put that i entered without a valid visa but someone said if u enetered in a false name you have to file a in country i601 to prove extreme hardship i was wondering if it true or if i can adjust under the 245 i with no issues??

err... no. Misrepresentation is a huge, huge, offense. Most times it does not make you eligible for a waiver.

err... no. Misrepresentation is a huge, huge, offense. Most times it does not make you eligible for a waiver.

You need to talk to a lawyer. 245i claims are special, and probably no one here is going to know the details.
