My favorite Jamaican dish is ackee & saltfish...followed by cabbage & saltfish...yam....Can I cook ackee & saltfish? Well, let's just say it's a work in progress--I am trying though, but my husband LOVES to cook and so he has spoiled me over the years! But I AM dedicated to trying, and will often help him in the kitchen for a few minutes, before I get distracted by the sexiness of him cooking, and then....

:lol: I like watching my Husband in the kitchen too :innocent:

I can cook Jerk chicken and plaintains because spanish people also make plaintains so I got that down. Im not tempted to make ackee cause I don't like it. The only way I eat calaloo is if my baby makes it. I would love to learn to make brown stew chicken! Oh and Ive watched the way he cooks Mackrel so I can make that too!
