I'm applying for my K-1 and once I get married and i start doing everything for my AOS I don't know if it's worth paying those 300 extra dollar to get the "travelers permit"... is it worth it?

I'm not planning on traveling until my man gets deployed (prob june/july 2010)

any piece of advice please?

Thank you!!

I presume you are referring to AP/Advance Parole (I-131, Application for Travel Document). If so, then the fee for this is waived when submitting it with (or after) the AOS (I-485) so yes, it is certainly worth it (since it'd be free).

so when I send all the documents with the $1010 check I don't have to add the 300 dollars of that form? yaaaaaaaay!!

I thought I had to pay that I-131 apart!!!

Yes, the fee is waived if file the I-131 with or after your AOS/I-485.

FYI, the AP and EAD fees were not waived, but included in the I-485 AOS in the 2007 price increase. Hence, you are paying for the AP and EAD wheher you apply for them or not.
