I am looking everywhere, but cant find it! i have about 3 original copies, and they are all together somewhere, I just don't know where! We have our interview on Tuesday, and I am getting really scared. It is on the list of things they need, and I am sure they will not approve us until they get it. WHat do you think?

I will, of course, turn the house upside down for the next 2 days, but what d you think will happen if I don't have it? WIll they let me off, because I sent one with the AOS package?

(I am the beneficiary)

I have been looking everywhere, and have no idea where they could be! I am really starting to panic.

Does anyone know what happens if you don't have soemthing on their list?

I did send them an original with the AOS package to Chicago, will they have that with them at the interview??

Please, anyone, let me know what the consequesnces may be, of if you were never even asked for yours (Chula Vista Office, San Diego)

Thanks....

If you sent an original Birth Certificate with your package then you should be fine. They should have it already. The reason they request originals at the interview is because most people send photocopies in their package and they need to compare the originals to the photocopy to ensure they have not been changed or tampered with. If they already have an original then there is really no point in bringing another one. Good luck in finding where they are, but you can stop worrying now and just prepare for the interview instead. Good luck.

thank you so much. I was thinking it that too, but it is so nice to hear it from someone else.

Yes, I will get on with my interview preparation. My printer is working hard!

Thanks again, and all the best with your citizenship.
