AOS interview delayed because of new job training

I am supposed to have the AOS interview Sept 21. I have been reading the older topics where it was clearly stated that we SHOULD NOT reschedule this interview.

But...

I will be getting a great job, with a great company, and they require me to attend this 2 weeks training , so I can't make it to the interview, first of all because of distance. Also, it is not possible to reschedule the training or the begining of my new job... So, I am in a real struggle to make it all work ! If I let this awesome opportunity slip away, I am not getting this chance anytime soon (let's not forget it's recession). :crying:

What do you think ??

No Biggy! Make a Infopass and reschedule.

That would certainly be a valid reason for both parties (you and USCIS) to want to move the interview date.

I'd make the infopass ASAP - perhaps you can get an appointment before the training date so you don't have to miss any work that will surely come afterward.

Very valid reason to reschedule. After all, I am sure the government would rather you didn't miss the opportunity to pay them taxes on the wages you earn :D

Friends of mine rescheduled without any problems. Reason was they were traveling abroad.

It's best not to reschedule if possible. Mainly because USCIS may FU the process.
