I met this Thai girl in California at a Thai restaurant. She came on a K-1. She was here for 2 months and the guy died. No AOS filed. So basically she was here illegally at the time. Felt bad for her.

I knew almost instantly she was the one, but you do make quite a few assumptions.

Not everyone is the typical.

1) I'm younger than her.

2) Her dad makes more money in the Philippines than I do in the US.

3) She's more educated than I am and could make more money working here than I can.

Sounds like you just had a bad experience and now you think everyone is doomed to fail too.

And what exactly does a 50 year old have in common with a 17 year old? Except the fact she'll graduate nursing school about time he's ready to go into a nursing home.

My fiances sister is almost 17, and she and I have nothing in common for our stages of life, I look at her like a little sister not a potential partner, and that hold true with everyone from that age group. I am MUCH MUCH MUCH closer to a 17 year olds age group than him, who is 50.
