Hi all VJ

I have one quick question is that what happens if i don't do medical just file I-693 form with AOS package? i don't have time it is about to time that i have to file within 2 days so cannot able to spend time after medical. what happens if i not file I-130,I-485,I-131,I765,I-864 only.

do i have to fill I-693 and send alongwith other forms and didn't do medical right now?

is USCIS will let me know that i have to do medical? do they gonna give me time to do that?

Your AOS package will stop processing, and they will RFE you - so you will have a short amount of time to fill the RFE, and if you fail in doing that, you lose the fee for filing the AOS and will have to start all over again.

If you go to the USCIS site, they have a link for doctors that are registered with them to do medicals for immigration. You can search by zipcode and make arrangements to have it done.

Most people I have heard do that to beat time end up waiting longer. They will just RFE you and your AOS plus ancillary applications just get put on hold till they receive your RFE. It takes a week MAX to get the meds done, it takes more than a week to respond to the RFE and send it to the USCIS. This what is is priceless, the peace of mind associated with not worrying if they got your RFE or it was misplaced. That peace should go on the MASTERCARD commercial as priceless. You can't file the I-693 without the medical exam. Most of it is not filled by you, but rather by the civil surgeon performing the medical.

As others have posted, you will not benefit time-wise by not having the I-693 done now. You will receive an RFE at some point which is going to hold up your whole process. You will not have a lot of time to fool around with when you get the RFE. It can take some time to get an appointment. Why do you feel like you have to send the AOS in the next 2 days?

thank you everybody for nice reply. now i decided to finish medical too i will wait more week. actually i already took so much time in filling. i was like let me finish real quick but now i will do that.

Your info says you filing for naturalization and you asking questions about I-693 which is for AOS. Pls correct if its wrong.
