Not everybody gets a touch for biometrics. We didn't. But we did have a case onlline that showed other touches along the way. Oddly, they never updated to show green card approval either, nor sent a welcome letter, but the card was received.

Anyway, here is the phone number of FBI line you can call to see whether your fingerprints were accepted or not if that will make you feel better. I believe they ask your A number, so have that handy.

The number is 304-625-5590.

Maybe they still investigate

My biometrics appointment is supposed to be on the 19th of August in Michigan City, Indiana, but my husband will be out of town next week so we decided to try a "walk-in".

They asked me to show them our marriage certificate because I can't show them an ID with my married name and had me fill up a form then took my finger prints.

I'm worried I don't have any updates yet through the USCIS website and email.

Don't worry!!

I also walked in early for my biometrics and I did not receive an update, a touch, nothing at all. The USCIS website was not updated. Then about 3 weeks later I received two emails, one approving me for AP and the other for EAD. I received them both in the post about a week later. I now have my interview for my green card in a few weeks, so relax!
