You will likely file CR1 :guides:

you're a cr1 so next step is to gather all of your I-130 with all the supporting documents. Remember to be safe and make a timeline and send it along with your application then later when your wife interview, refresh the timeline and bring it with her. That's my .02.

You have marriage certificate (giay chung nhan ket hon), you should start with CR1, not k-1. IMO

I was reading the guidelines earlier, and if you want to do the K-3, I believe the way I read it, you file it in VN....

ya during the interview, in soc trang, they asked some pretty simple questions such as when/where/how we met stuff. separetly of course and we passed. my uncle works in the "cong an" aka police department. so he helped us a lot with paperwork. my dad has a friend who works at the clinic so he helped us out with the medical stuff. i am thinking i have to do something with sending this giay chung nhan ket hon cert. so that my wife can get a passport. my dad said i dont have to go to back to vietnam because my part is complete. only time i want to go back is to pick her up.

Then you will for sure file CR-1.

...wow, you got by easy with your marriage interview then...I was worried they wouldn't let me marry. They interviewed my husband first, and then called me over about an hour after to question my signature. She was REALLY IFFY about it though...then she called my husband over to talk to us together...I stayed quiet for the most part because I was a little intimidated...

...as for my medical/psychology exam...I did great...except the admitting "nurse" informed me that I couldn't go in because I was wearing shorts. My husband had to take me to a market to buy some jeans...first pair fit like a charm and we were back in there like 10 minutes later...she gave me a dirty look. LOL...the examining "doctor" asked me a few questions, I answered them, then he tried to get me with a tricky one...he asked where my parents were from (because of my dialect) and I kept saying Saigon because that's where my family IS from...lol...he drew a map and I kept point to the south "saigon" and he just laughed and wrote a few things down and "passed" me...lol. :)

Fun times...

All the forms can be found on the USCIS website. You will need the I130 and the Bio forms for you and your wife.
