she's gonna have to send her birth certificate

so either way its gonna be inconsistent

you should just go ahead and put her correct birth date on her DS230

sounds good, my wife will have to send her mothers birth certificate????

Yes, I'm confused too. Why would you have to send your spouse's parents' BCs in?

no not her mother's birth certificate, her own birth certificate

i was saying they should just put his wife's correct birth date because she will have to send in her birth certificate so it has to be consistent

You got confused bunzarelli, the wifes birthday is correct, her mom's birthday is not. I don't think you'll have a problem because of that, i think they barely look at that stuff. On my co-sponsor form I mistakenly put the year as 2099, and i got approved no problem.

oooooh my bad

i re-read it, i initially thought he meant he put his mother-in law's birthday as his wife's birthday

sorry if i startled you gundas

We messed up question 22 also.

I'm not completely sure what we answered there, but because we failed, CSC never send our papers to NVC after the approval. We had to file An I-824 to get it forwarded. We filed in January and never heard back of them. I hope they will do anything soon, because I'm sick of waiting any longer.

So I Guess worst case would be for you that you approved I130 doesn't get forwarded and you have to file an I924 and pay the fee for having them "release" and sent to NVC.

I hope the best for you!

are you sure that's the only reason your case wasn't forwarded to NVC?

Well I wouldn't know why else they would not send it to NVC. It got approved and they said if we want them to have it sent to NVC we have to file an I824

Wow this thread is messy

Anyway, basically you are just guessing. You know you left a field blank, your file did not automatically get forwarded so you assume it's because of that - I don't think that is a very sound assumption (now if they told you that specifically - that's another story).

Sometimes - and I know this is surprising - NVC screws things up.

Hi Dini,

Did you fill in part 1 of question 22 with city and state in United States resulting in this? or left this part blank?

Leaving it blank I think will mean person is not in the United States and consequently cannot adjust status in US. I am wondering if you left the question blank or filled in with city and State.

Did you answer the second part of question 22 with consular post City and Country?

Also did you answer your spouse in not currently in the US in question 13 and 14?

Thanks in advance
