Or not! As other posters said, whether the 125% thing applies for K1s varies. In Brazil, it does apply. In other countries, it may be 100% above the poverty level as another poster said. We're talking about the interview affidavit of support here.

Again, the 125% level will be an issue when applying for AOS.

Was talking with my fiance... who lives in U.K....he also visits this site frequently...just doesn't post...that's up to me hehe..... anyhow.....He said he thought he had read somewhere that on the 17th of July, the UCIS will be changing the limits from 125% to 100% above poverty level for income requirements...... Has anyone else heard this or know anything about it???? I told him I would ask...any responses will be welcome!

As I understand it, the 100% only applies when using assets to make up for income shortfall.
