About a month back the VSC asked me for RFE I sent it in along with a I-765 application. They sent me a letter July 20th stating that they recieved my RFE. Now they've given me a sixty day period to give me an answer. I feel like it will be delayed just like the first time and go over the sixty days...I'm trying to apply into nursing school but I can't seem to go on with my life due to this horrid problem and my step father is still being abusive and abusing my family. My mother and I are misearble and we don't know what to do. My mother just applied for VAWA, while I applied back in December 2007 when I had turned 18. My case has been going on for 19 months and we have crazy evidence over my step father, he was charged with attempted murder against my mother. I am currently seeking the help of a psychaitrist cause I am so messed up mentally. I can't move on.

Im so sorry to hear that sweetheart, dont worry u will get ur approval in no time!!!!!! 19 months is the longest wait time that ive ever heard but dont give up!!

I'm sorry to hear that. Stay strong RFE is a good thing it means their handling your case, in the interim you need to distance yourself from that whole situation. 60 days is a pat answer, if you provided the information they requested I think you will hear back sooner.

Thanks for the emotional support and congrats to u over ur case. u know i'm just upset over the fact tht people who do fraud with immigration and vawa get it faster while the people who have TONS of evidence and have ACTUALLY been through abuse have are auditted :/ Hope everyone gets what they deserve!
