hello everyone....just wanted to know if there is similar situation as mine or can someone reply to my inquiry,as i would like to study again in philippines to get a 2nd degree,can i use only my 2 yr GC to study again or i still need to wait the 10 year gc to be able to go back again in philippines to study.2yr GC is fine what do u think guys?and how many months i can stay in philippines using a 2yr GC.thanks in advance

2-year card, 10-year card - same thing, same privileges, responsibilities and requirements (the only difference is the expiration date).

You need to be aware that you have a responsibility to maintain your residency in the US if you intend to maintain your permanent resident status.

How long do you plan to be gone?

like 2.5 years but i will go back here in US every 5 months is that possible?

I would think so (not 100% sure), but you MUST maintain a home here in your name.
