So Montreal says "It SHOULD not" affect the outcome, would you put your kids in school in the US before being approved?

Have to make sure they will accept the docs you have ( for them to register in school ) and not overstay.We had to go through a wringer her in NJ to get the kids in school, SHots , proof of address ( you have this I know ) , immigration docs etc.. I think I was reading the Canada forum that it is taking Montreal 4-5 months to scheudle appointments. The biggest part is they can not overstay of they are even allowed to cross the border. I am unfamiliar with entry form Canada though. Hopefullly a fellow canadian will pipe in for ya.

As I told you before, I am not sure that they even read emails we send there...and even if you don't even have a name of the person who answered your email to hold them accountable for this information...apart from the fact that "it should not" basically means "I am not sure,"...so no guarantees there.

Usually when someone is admitted as a visitor they cannot study full time. That is why there are specific visa categories for students and exchange visitors (F and J categories). Check this out:

I'm interested to know how this worked out ......did they say it was alright to enroll the kids in school as long as there is no overstay?
