They normally reject the application if you dont have sufficent funds.

Guess you will have to wait and see.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

No, they would send back the entire thing, and you would have to redo the check. (making sure funds are available) - you could re-use what you sent.

However, you said you have the NOA for the various forms, which means they accepted it and put it in the system.

You may want to call USCIS and check the status of the case/payment to be sure.

If your application is rejected, I believe it gets sent back to you, so you just have to write a new check (or get a money order, so you won't have this issue again) and drop the package in the mail again. Your insufficient $10 will cost you a little carpal tunnel in re-writing the check and re-addressing the envelope. ;) Not that big of a deal, IMO.

But since you're saying that you've received your NOAs, already, they may run your check through your bank again. Have you called USCIS w/ your question?

I'm pretty sure that I read somewhere on USCIS site that they try to cash a check twice before getting back to you.

I'm 99% sure but you still better call them though.
